Great mastering starts with intentional listening. Once you have submitted your track, it will face the 'critical listen' stage.
This is the process of listening to the mix with the aim to answer the following questions:

Is there enough space for us to work with the mix?

Does the mix start and end appropriately?

Is there any obvious changes that need to be made to the tonal or level balance within the mix?

Is there any distortion, clipping, or artefacts that we need to discuss?

Any findings from this stage will be fed back to you during the follow-up email. From there we can advise on any suggested changes, or give you the nod of approval to submit payment.
